A Quick Video Primer on Ocean Deoxygenation

If you would like a quick primer on ocean deoxygenation, here is a short video featuring one of the HypOnFjordFish project participants, Dr. Natalya Gallo. This video is part of a special plenary organized by the American Geographical Society during the Geography 2050: The Future of the World Ocean Conference in November, 2020.

10 of the major challenges for the ocean were highlighted by scientific experts on those topics, and ocean deoxygenation was featured as one of the 10 challenges for the health of the world ocean. This short presentation aims to expand awareness and understanding in the public about the causes and consequences of ocean oxygen loss.
