Ocean Deoxygenation: Everyone’s Problem

There have been several excellent efforts to raise awareness about ocean deoxygenation and bring scientists together to share the latest science on ocean deoxygenation. These include the IUCN report on ocean deoxygenation that was published in 2019 and included contributions from scientists studying this problem worldwide. The full report, executive summary, issues brief, and associated infographics can be found here.

The IUCN report is one of the most comprehensive available resources on ocean deoxygenation and is an excellent place to start whether you are a student, scientist, manager, or policy maker wanting to learn more. The report features contributions from several scientists from the HypOnFjordFish team.
